Is Ho Cheung a medical facility?
Ho Cheung is a lifestyle residence, not a medical or nursing facility. We focus on comfortable daily living, communal dining, and personal support for older adults who are largely independent. For residents requiring clinical care, we recommend consulting a medical professional alongside your stay here.
Can family members visit whenever they wish?
Yes. Family visits are welcome throughout the day and we encourage them warmly. We simply ask that guests check in at reception on arrival so we can welcome them properly and let your family member know you are here.
What do the monthly fees include?
Each service has a clear monthly rate published on this site. The Dining & Tea House plan covers all communal meals. The Garden Mornings plan adds outdoor access and morning activities. The Full Comfort Residence combines everything into one flat monthly arrangement including accommodation, housekeeping, laundry and a personal host.
How do I arrange a visit before deciding?

Are meals adapted for dietary needs or personal preferences?
Our kitchen staff are happy to note personal tastes and common dietary considerations. We do our best to accommodate preferences within our seasonal Cantonese menus. We ask families to share any specific dietary information when a resident joins us.
Can a resident start with one service and move to a fuller arrangement later?
Yes. Many residents begin with the Dining & Tea House or Garden Mornings plan and gradually settle into the Full Comfort Residence as they grow comfortable here. We are happy to discuss a transition at any time with the resident and their family.
